Passages, an exhibition of photographs and fine art prints by Points of View artist Judith Long and her husband Burke Long, opens at Thornton Oaks in Brunswick on April 5, 2017.  The show runs through the end of May.

The work is grounded in material objects, such as plant roots that carry nutrients and glass that transmits light. Yet the images are not simply literal representations. They move toward abstract patterns of light and color while suggesting metaphor and poetry.
