Maine artists are invited to submit original artwork to Brunswick's 10x10 Benefit Art Exhibit & Sale. Benefits go to Arts Are Elementary, a local nonprofit providing artist-in-residence programs to all Brunswick students in grades K-5.
This popular event draws artists from all over Maine and supporters from the greater Brunswick/Portland/Augusta area. The basic application information can be found below and full details are available at the 10 X 10 Brunswick website (www.10x10brunswick.org).
Event Date: Friday, September 26, 2014 from 6pm - 9pm (NOTE NEW HOURS)
Venues: Morrell Meeting Room, Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant Street
Parish Hall, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 27 Pleasant Street
Application information
• Application deadline is June 1, 2014.
• Artist must be at least 18 years old.
• Artist must be a full or part time resident of Maine.
• Artist may submit one or two pieces, with an application fee of $10 per piece entered.
• Artwork is due August 23.
• The sale price of artwork is $200. If sold, the artist receives $100 and $100 benefits Arts Are Elementary, a local nonprofit that provides artist residencies to all Brunswick students in grades K through 5.
• Artwork must be exactly 10-inches square. New framing options are detailed on the application form.
• The event is not juried; however, the 10x10 committee reserves the right to refuse any artwork that is deemed not suitable for the Benefit Art Exhibit & Sale. Please make every effort to follow instructions.
